Houseboat Rental Policies
1.
Absolutely no pets allowed.
2.
Entire rental charge is due prior to boarding.
3.
Cash,
Travelers Checks, Money Orders and Certified Checks are
accepted for rentals. Credit cards can be used for all
other purchases except fishing license.
4.
Boarding begins between 2:00pm - 5:00pm provided the
boats are clean and have been inspected. Please call for
a more specific time. Actual departure times vary greatly
depending on the amount of time it takes your party to
load the houseboat, launch personal watercraft, purchase
fishing license, etc. There is also a short explanation
of the safety and operating procedures by our personnel.
5.
All houseboats must leave the harbor at least one hour
before dark or remain in the harbor until morning.
6.
Houseboats must be unloaded by 11:00am ready for checkout,
or a late fee of $100.00 per hour will be charged.
7.
Houseboats must be returned reasonably clean, including
dishes or a $50.00 cleaning fee will be charged.
8.
All houseboats must be accompanied by a motor boat.
Bring your own or rent one from our marina. This is for
your safety and convenience.
Reservations
Reservations may be made by phone
and will be confirmed upon receipt of deposit.
Deposits
The deposit must be received within 10 days of the day
the reservation is made.
The Deposit is not applied to the rental fee. It will be
refunded when the boat
is returned without damage, filled with gas and reasonably
clean.
You are responsible for any and all damages.
Cancellations
If the reservation is cancelled in writing
more than 45 days from departure,
85% of the deposit will be refunded.
There will be no deposit refunds with less
than 45 days from departure.
Taxes
Add an additional 14.25% for Tennessee
State Sales Tax.
